WATER: Owned and operated by the Town of Oriental.  Period of coverage is monthly approximately the 15th of each month.  Services are billed at the end of each month with payments due by the 20th of the following month. 

RATES:  All water services are subject to a monthly base rate of $7.50

Service provided by Bay River: 252 745 4812
Rates:  $8.46 per 1,000 gallons with a minimum charge of $10.00 per month
Garbage Disposal service provided by GDS of New Bern.  $7.00 per month charge (Included in water billing) to citizens living within the town limits of Oriental.  Garbage and recycling containers provided as part of the garbage disposal service.  Scheduled pickup, for garbage is Monday, starting 7 AM of each week and for recycles is the first and third Monday of each month.
Trash must be inside the container to be collected
No yard waste.  No construction material.
